Who Wore It Better - Valentino 2014 Edition

Who Wore Valentino Better?
2014 Collections

Valentino is always a favored red carpet choice by socialites and celebrities, as their range of beautiful gowns are impossible to look bad in. On this edition of 'Who Wore It Better', 3 different Valentino dresses are put on display by international stars, each providing their own unique spin.

Round 1
1. Fashion queen Anna Dello Russo was pictured last week wearing this popular butterfly printed gown from Valentino's Pre-Fall 2014 collection. Surprisingly demure, Anna carried a maroon fringed Valentino bag with her outfit.
2. Saoirse Ronan was the first to wear this black, yellow and blue butterfly tulle frock in March this year, with sleeves that are delicately feathered in a rainbow of colours.
3. Italian actress Matilde Gioli picked this pretty black butterfly embroidered gown for an event in June 2014. She charmingly wore her hair in a side braid.
4. This flutter-filled gown featured as part of Valentino's Pre-Fall 2014 range.

The Verdict: I am impressed at how toned-down Anna is in this beguiling gown, but my vote goes to Saoirse. The dress has a youthful feel to it and her 20-year-old self portrays that wonderfully.

Round 2
1. Blake Lively took a stylish stride in New York during May 2014 wearing a violet hued flower and butterfly embossed Valentino coat dress. The blonde actress added printed Christian Louboutin ankle boots to her chic outfit.
2. Shailene Woodley wore the same butterfly jacquard print in a slightly different silhouette, also in May this year. The 22-year-old vivified her look with neon pink Kurt Geiger heels.
3. Miroslava Duma was pictured this July wearing the green-toned version of this Valentino Fall 2014 coat dress with glazed floral print. Mira wears black ankle-strap sandals with her look.
4. US Model Lexi Boling struts the Valentino runway in this butterfly and flower patterned coat with lacquered sheen.

The Verdict: Between the exceptional poise of Blake and the fashion savviness of Miroslava, I find it difficult to choose between the two. Both wore it splendidly.

Round 3
1. Asian beauty Lulu Tan attended the Valentino Couture show last week in Paris, elegantly decked in this exquisite white tulle gown with transparent criss-cross bodice.
2. Katy Perry was the first to wear this Valentino Spring 2014 Couture gown back in January, making a memorable appearance at the Grammy Awards. The fluttery white tulle gown with sheer neckline and skirt was an apt pick for the event, seeing that it was decorated by musical notes.
3.  Dutch model Maartje Verhoef looked graceful on the Valentino Spring 2014 Couture runway in this white gossamer gown.

The Verdict: My vote goes to Lulu, her dainty frame enhances the fairytale appeal of this ethereal gown. I also liked it worn on the runway.

What are your Verdicts on these Valentino Dresses?

Who Wore MinkPink Better?

Who Wore It Better?
MinkPink 'Fading Into Daisies' Skirt

Australian brand MinkPink has invaded the overseas market with their contemporary, stylish and affordable clothing, which have not only been popular with fashion lovers, but celebrities too.

This pretty Summer-inspring striped tube skirt and matching cropped top with floral daisy pattern is on the hotlist from MinkPink's SS14 range. The 'Fading Into Daisies' pencil skirt has already been worn by three of TV's most stylish Hollywood actresses.

Olivia Munn was spotted in Los Angeles wearing the cropped striped and floral top with matching skirt by Minkpink. The actress paired her savvy ensemble with a Stella & Dot crossbody bag and black ankle strap Stuart Weitzman sandals.
Eva Longoria made a trip to France in this trendy Minkpink 'Fading into Daisies' striped pencil skirt, opting to style it with a black tee, white Helmut Lang zipped blazer and Christian Louboutin white python pumps. Eva also carried a black quilted Chanel tote bag.
Jamie Chung added a red envelope clutch and strappy tie-up silver metallic sandals to her Minkpink 'Fading into Daisies' floral and stripe printed outfit.

Kelly Osbourne also wore this same MinkPink ensemble for an appearance on E! News.

Get The Look

The Minkpink 'Fading into Daisies' cropped striped and floral top and matching skirt are both available at Nordstrom.com for $48 a piece.

As for 'Who Wore It Better?', as chic as all three actresses look, my top pick is Olivia Munn, as I prefer the black sandals with the outfit and both the top and skirt seemed to fit her better. I also liked the red clutch Jamie Chung wore with her look.

Who Wore Alexander McQueen Better?

Who Wore It Better?
Alexander McQueen black and gold gowns

The impact of a timeless black Alexander McQueen gown is never lost...no matter how many times it has been worn out on the red carpet. These are two exceptionally crafted crepe dresses from the British design label that have graced red carpets the world over a multitude of times. But who holds up the value of an Alexander McQueen original best?

The first gown is a black crepe long-sleeved silhouette with fluted skirt and high neck keyhole cut-out collar that is beautifully decorated by gold leaf embellishings. The dress, which is sold out online, retailed for $7000.

Round One
1. Kate Hudson was exquisitely dressed in this Alexander McQueen frock with decadent gold beaded neckline at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards. She was the first to wear the design and added a leaf motif belt to clinch in her waist. Rolling blonde waves style her look.
2. Russian beauty Victoria Bonya brought this popular dress to the Cannes Film Festival this year, the silhouette fitting her to perfection, with an embellished belt highlighting her narrow waist.
3. British actress Emma Rigby picked out this regal gown for the Berlin premiere of her movie 'The Physician' back in December 2013. A slicked back hairstyle completed her look.
4. Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone stunned at the 2014 Screen Awards in India wearing the famed McQueen fishtail gown with embroidered gold neckline. Deepika opted not to wear a belt with her look and slicked her hair back in a style similar to Emma's.

These four ladies were not the only ones to be enamored by the allure of this Alexander McQueen dress. Middle-aged Reality TV stars Lisa Vanderpump, Kris Jenner and Alexia Echevarria all have been photographed wearing the exact same look. (Click the links to see their versions).

This stunning second look from Alexander McQueen is a slinky black crepe strapless gown with gold metal leaf crystal encrusted peplum, which retails for $4 485.

Round Two
1. Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra was beautifully outfitted in the curve-hugging Alexander McQueen gown at the 2014 Filmfare Awards in Mumbai, India. Side swept waves styled her look.
2. South Korean actress Jeon Do Youn wore the same elegant gown with beaded peplum at the 2014 Asian Film Awards in Macau, China. As radiant as she is, the gown seems slightly big on her.
3. The first to wear this McQueen creation long before anyone else in December 2013 was British actress Naomie Harris, at the London premiere of her movie 'Long Walk to Freedom'. Naomie's svelte frame is elongated in this polished column gown.

As for 'Who Wore It Better', in Round One my pick is Victoria Bonya, the gown was tailored to fit her flawlessly and her sophisticated upstyle suited the high neckline of the gown. In Round Two, I prefer the hourglass shape of Priyanka's dress over the slimmer fitted dresses of Jeon and Naomie.

Who Wore Chanel Better?

Who Wore It Better?
Black and White Chanel Dresses

With Chanel being such a widely coveted brand, it's inevitable that more than one celebrity will be spotted in the same glamourous Parisian look. That can be said for an iconic black and white chiffon-feathered gown from Chanel's Fall 2011 collection which continues to make appearances on the red carpet year after year.

Round 1
1. Crystal Renn hauled this dramatic monochromatic gown out of the Chanel archives for an outing in New York just last week (April 2014). The supermodel pulled her hair back in a sleek bun, wore a red hot lip and carried a black clutch bag.
2. Lily Allen picked out the popular Chanel gown for a movie premiere in London during October 2013. The British singer wore the white cap-sleeved gown with turned up collar and tattered black chiffon gown originally as presented on the runway, with the leaf-embroidered waistband. Lily added a colourful Chanel Lego clutch, and fringed updo to her outfit.
3. Emilia Clarke looked elegant at the 2012 SAG Awards in the frou frou feathered gown with white bodice that is edged in black frills. The Game of Thrones actress kept her hair in a loose upstyle.
4. The first person to wear this two-tone Chanel look was Zoe Kravitz at the Unicef Snowflake ball in November 2011. Zoe wore the dress sans the embroidered waistband with her hair up.

On the runway the textured gown with structured bodice was given grunge styling, worn by Latvian model Ginta Lapina, with sheer chiffon fingerless gloves and lace-up leather boots.

Round 2
1. Rachel Zoe put on a little black and white pearl studded Chanel dress for a red carpet appearance in Los Angeles during March 2014. The designer accessorized with an elaborate pearl necklace and wore black tights and platforms with her dress, a white fur stole in tow.
2. Alexa Chung was first to wear this strapless Chanel tweed shift dress, keeping it simple with a chain sling Chanel bag and black PVC pointy toe pumps as seen on the runway.
3. On the Spring 2013 catwalk, Belgian model Yumi Lambert wore the striking look with a pearl twisted choker, leather fingerless goes and pointy-toe PVC shoes.

In Round 1, my vote goes to Emilia Clarke, the dress was tailored to fit her perfectly, whereas on Lily and Zoe, it looked slightly too big. I also prefer it with the waistband, although I must admit Crystal wore it with poise, only the way a model can.
In Round 2, I think Alexa wore it best, I prefer this dress minus the heavy heels and tights.

Who Wore H&M Conscious Collection Better?

Who Wore It Better?
H&M Conscious Collection Dress

If you live anywhere near an H&M store, you would have been witness to the exciting launch of their 2014 Conscious Collection, where sustainable materials are key in creating exquisite designs that are within a reasonable price range. This light beige lace dress is one of the most popular looks from the collection, boasting femininity and grace for all ages and shapes.

It is plain to see why this dress and the complimenting shoulder embellishment are currently sold out online and in many of the H&M stores - it looks designer made, it is decadently pretty and seems far more expensive than it actually is.

Five different celebrities were already spotted out wearing this luxurious lace look.

1. Jennifer Lopez wore the dainty cream dress for an appearance on American Idol last week. The Latina star kept her styling simple with gold bangles and Ivy Kirzhner cream and gold platform pumps. JLo's hair was combed in a half-up, half-down do.
2. Sophia Bush wore the same H&M Conscious Collection dress almost a month earlier in March 2014. The brunette actress paired her high-neck dress with a rhinestone studded shoulder decoration, also from the brand. Nude shoes, a silver grey clutch and girly curls style her outfit.
3. German model Franziska Knuppe pulled her hair up in a ballet bun to highlight the elaborate beaded neckpiece attached to this delicate ivory A-line dress. She accessorized with tan peep-toe heels and a nude bag.
4. Supermodel Alek Wek wore the same lace and organic cotton blend dress for an H&M outing last week, combining her fetching look with gold sequin and bead embroidered leather sandals that are also part of the H&M Conscious Collection.
5. The first person to be seen in the charming lace frock was Jessica Alba at Paris Fashion Week in February 2014. The starlet gave her look an edge with black tights and platform pumps.

Veteran model Amber Valletta fronts the 2014 H&M Conscious Collection Campaign, pictured in the creamy lace scalloped-hem, long-sleeved dress, which retails for $249. The dress is accessorized with a rhinestone decorated neckpiece that costs $149.

As for 'Who Wore It Better?', I think both Jennifer Lopez and Alek Wek wear this dress beautifully, without the high neckline being too overwhelming. I also liked the fit of the sleeves on Alek. Do you think this dress needs the beaded shoulder ornamentation?

Who Wore Burberry Prorsum SS14 Better?

Who Wore It Better?
Burberry Prorsum SS14 Lace Dress

There was no doubt that Burberry Prorsum's Spring/Summer 2014 collection would be an exceedingly popular one. This is just one more beautiful dress from the saccharine pastel soaked range, which has been worn out three times in two months across continents. The dress is sheerly defined by lavender lace, a draped bustier, pencil skirt and one-shouldered flower appliquéd strap. It's hard to go wrong with a look this pretty, so it all comes down to the styling.

1. Socialite Poppy Delevingne wore the dainty lilac cotton see-through lace dress with twist-draped bustier to an event in LA, giving it a glittery touch with a gold Jimmy Choo clutch and round-toed pumps. Sunkissed makeup and unkempt hair styled Poppy's look.
2. We recently saw British actress Gemma Chan lend her splendor to this pastel Burberry Prorsum dress, hers worn with a skin-tone underlay instead of the conspicuous lilac shorts. She accessorized with a lilac leather Burberry 'The Petal' flower decked clutch and white pointy-toe Gianvito Rossi pumps. Bright red lipstick and loose locks styled Gemma's outfit.
3. Spanish beauty Dafne Fernandez was also enamored by Burberry's lavender lace SS14 pencil dress, adding a must-have $1495 'The Petal' Burberry flower-studded clutch and metallic glittered heels. Dafne wore kohl lined eyes and her hair to the side.
4. On the Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2014 runway, Brit model Matilda Lowther strutted out in the transparent cotton lace midi dress with a pink 'The Petal' clutch and pair of $650 white translucent vinyl sandals, all from the iconic label.

The lavender lace dress with plastic pink flower strap is available online from Burberry.com - If you have $2 495 to spare. Unlike the above looks, this one is fully lined in silk. Because only models and celebrities can get away with showing off their undergarments in public.

As for 'Who Wore It Better', the dress is faultless on each of these four ladies, but my vote is going to Gemma Chan, her posture and poise elevates the entire look, and I prefer the dress lined.

Who Wore Moschino's McDonalds Dress Better?

Who Wore It Better?
Moschino McDonalds Dress
Fall/Winter 2014

As much as it pains me to post on something this kitsch, curiosity got the better of me and I had to find out what you thought of Moschino's fast food fashion. Not even 24 hours after Jeremy Scott debuted his commercially flashy Moschino Fall/Winter 2014 collection, celebrities has snapped up this lurid ketchup red and mustard yellow sweater dress that bears an uncanny resemblance to that all famous fast food chain we find on every other city block. I never thought I'd see the day McDonalds became a high-ticket item on the fashion week menu.

1. Trend-loving Anna Dello Russo spared no time in nabbing the infamous Moschino McDonalds sweater dress, giving it sporty styling with lace-up Adidas heels, a striped knitted scarf and a $1265 quilted M insignia bag. My eyes will never forgive me for this.
2. British model Jourdan Dunn stepped out in the same Moschino FW14 sweater, toning it down with an oversized black furry coat, leather mini skirt, tote bag and buckled Oxfords.
3. South Korean model Soo Joo caught the attention of PFW paparazzi in the conspicuous wool-blend sweater dress, wearing hers with black tights, a backpack, sneakers and a pink beanie.
4. Katy Perry is no stranger to all things tongue-in-cheek, and she flavoured her recent trip to Japan with the popular McDonalds maiden look, pairing it with the Moschino golden arch logo bag, sheer black tights, red ankle-strap shoes and if that wasn't enough, she also added a hair bow. I'll have fries with my order Katy...thank you very much.

Polish model Natalia Siodmiak swaggered down the Moschino FW14 runway in this McDonalds monogrammed sweater and skirt, and just for the that max brash appeal, they even added matching shoes and giant yellow bauble earrings.  I have no doubt that this sweater will follow in the footsteps of the Givenchy Bambi and Kenzo Tiger street style trends.

In case you have fallen into the trend trap, you can purchase this sweater dress for £492 or $935 from the Capsule Collection on Moschino.com, and to my surprise, it is selling out like Happy Meals. Why anyone would want to pay that much to look like a McDonalds employee is beyond me. In fact, even McDonalds staff have called the collection "inappropriate".

If I were forced to chose 'Who Wore It Better?', I would go with Jourdan Dunn, because at least she added some class to this Pop-trash-tic sweater dress. I would love to hear your thoughts on this Moschino McDonalds fad...Are You Lovin' It?

Who Wore Valentino Better?

Who Wore It Better?
Valentino Fall/Winter 2013-14
Ivory Embroidered Dress

This Valentino FW13 dress has worked its way from an LA awards show to an NYC movie premiere and all the way to Europe for a chic casual outing. Featuring an embroidered wool bodice and bell-shaped skirt, high neck with mesh inset and cuffed tulle sleeves, this exquisite dress will go down as a classic in Valentino's hall of fame.

Retailing for a whopping $13 000 (yes 3 zeros), this Valentino dress has been a popular pick amongst the young and stylish...

1. Girls actress Allison Williams looked elegant at the MTV Awards in the ivory embroidered mini dress, choosing to wear her hair up and pairing it with metallic Christian Louboutin shoes.
2. British model Atlanta de Cadenet was spotted styling up the streets of Paris in the cream embroidered dress, selecting to keep on the scalloped neck collar as seen on the runway. Atlanta carried a see-through clutch and vivified her look with red lips & strappy shoes.
3. Victoria's Secret model Lily Aldridge was an image of grace pictured in the same romantic wool/silk dress at a movie premiere in New York City. Lily had her hair in loose waves with a red hot lip and embroidered ruby heels to accessorize.
4. On the Valentino Fall/Winter 2013-14 runway, US model Juliana Schurig presented the richly embroidered dress with the scalloped bib attached. The scholastic silhouette was accented by a side braid and black headband, along with gloved T-bar block heels.

As for 'Who Wore It Better', I think it would be impossible for anyone to look bad in this tasteful dress. My vote goes to Lily, because she wears it so effortlessly (and she's one of my favourite models). But kudos to Atlanta for wearing this look out casually whilst the others saved it for the red carpet. Do you prefer this dress with or without the scalloped collar?

Which Brit Wore Burberry Better?

Who Wore It Better?
Burberry Prorsum
Spring/Summer 2014 Dress

Iconic brand Burberry is synonymous with British high society, so it's no surprise seeing the same look once more than once. The outfit in question is a fetching candy pink lace ensemble with collared short-sleeve shirt and fitted pencil skirt. Three famous British celebrities vie for the title of having worn this delightful Burberry Prorsum Spring 2014 dress better.

1. Style Icon Alexa Chung was the first to wear the ladylike Burberry Prorsum dress off the runway, at a launch for her Eyeko makeup line in December 2013. The DJ/Model banished the winter chills with a smokey grey oversized coat and a pair of flat leopard print loafers.
2. Cara Delevingne presented this pleasing sheer pink lace shirt and pencil skirt on the Burberry Prorsum runway last September. The supermodel was styled with a mint and green leather clutch and vivid pink T-bar sandals.
3. Most recently, we admired Paloma Faith at the Burberry FW14 Menswear show in London last week. The usually eccentrically dressed singer cleaned up exceptionally well in this beguiling pink lace look, creatively pairing it with a pastel blue overcoat. Paloma added a metallic clutch and pumps to her outfit.

As for 'Who Wore It Better?', all three Brit 'It Chicks' look incredibly stylish in their own right, and although I prefer Cara's runway clutch, my vote goes to Paloma Faith, simply because she inspired me with a charming new colour confection of
bubblegum pink and powder blue.

Who Wore It Better - The Bella Thorne Edition

Who Wore It Better?
The Bella Thorne Edition

2013 is the year that Bella Thorne has gracefully emerged as a young style icon, displaying intrigue and quirkiness with her innovative sense of fashion. Bella has also been the perfect poster girl for Blumarine this year, favoring the Italian brand for many of her red carpet appearances. But this 16-year-old has been caught wearing the same outfit as other starlets more than six times. Trendsetter, or copycat? And Does She Wear it Better? You Decide...

Round One
Bella wears a red and pink rose printed monochrome ensemble by Blumarine, featuring sheer sleeves, a folded tulip skirt and ankle-cropped pants, along with black pumps.
Behati Prinsloo selected to wear the same Blumarine outfit sans any pants.
Verdict: I like it on all three, it's a very pretty and girly look that a petite teen, a Victoria's Secret beauty and runway model all wear charmingly.

Round 2
Bella Thorne adorns a playful orange & white graphic printed look by Katie Ermilio, with cropped top and peplum maxi skirt. A statement necklace & black sandals style her outfit.
Jaime King picked the same look, shortening the length of the skirt & adding metallic pumps.
Verdict: Although this isn't my favorite look from Bella, I will chose her because this eclectic outfit suits her youthful style. I also like the topknot.

Round 3
Bella looked engaging in a pastel pink stripe and floral frock with draped skirt by Blumarine. She jazzed it up with green Bionda Castana shoes and a nude clutch.
Jada Pinkett Smith wears the same winsome dress with snazzy suede pink and red Alaia sandals and a rosy Jimmy Choo clutch.
Verdict: I love Jada's heels but I like the fit of the dress on Bella.

Round 4
Bella is pictured in a navy blue and white Alice + Olivia window-pane printed dress with A-line flaired skirt and tie-up sandals by Prabal Gurung.
Mena Suvari wore the same strapless dress a year earlier with bright red Brian Atwood heels.
Verdict: Mena wins this one for me with her savvy pop of colour.

Round 5
Bella wears yet another look from Blumarine's Fall 2013 line, this time in a blush shade with sheer yoke & sleeves, embellished by aqua & white floral appliqués and metallic pumps.
Amber Kuo enhances her outfit with a crystal necklace & nude studded Louboutin pumps.
Verdict: I prefer the fit and styling of this dress on the runway model.

Round 6
Bella looked dreamy in the fairy-like sheer floral dress with nude inner corset by Blumarine.
Kacey Musgraces wore the same stunning dress to the CMA Awards 2 weeks before Bella.
Verdict: I preferred this delicate look on Bella, her braided crown added to the romance.

Does Bella Wear it Better?
List numbers 1 to 6 and let me know what you think below.

Who Wore Christian Dior Better?

Who Wore It Better?
Christian Dior
FW12 Pink Midi Dress

I thought we had seen the last of Christian Dior's pink midi FW12 dress, but turns out, this lace & chiffon stunner had one more outing to make. Already worn four times before on the red carpet, this fluorescent pink Dior dress is proving to be look that's well worth recycling.

Canadian model Kate King walked the Christian Dior Fall/Winter 2012 runway in this ravishing watermelon pink dress, along with nude ankle-strap shoes.

1. Actress Krysten Ritter was the first to wear the lace long-sleeved Dior frock. Krysten went the risqué route and kept the skirt sheer. I wish she had lined her dress, as the black knickers are quite distracting. Grey strappy Jimmy Choo shoes and clutch styled her outfit.
2. Australian singer Delta Goodrem brought a romantic touch to the hot pink Dior dress with a pretty floral crown. A matching clutch and nude ballet pumps accessorized her look. Apparently Delta was nursing a foot injury at the time, hence her shoe choice.

3. Asian songstress Kelly Chan imparts a sense of sophistication to the Christian Dior dress with a black sparkly bag and nude cross-strap Dior shoes.
4. Most recently, British pop singer Sophie Ellis Bextor pulled the frock out of the Dior archives for a red carpet appearance just last week. Sophie added a black clutch and pumps to her look. I find the bodice slightly too big on her.

The Christian Dior lace and pleated dress also graced many-a-fashion magazine. From top left, Bella Heathcote in Vogue Australia, Megan Hilty in Vegas Magazine, Marion Cotillard in Elle South Africa and Milla Jovovich in Tatler Russia.

Who Wore It Better?

It's a tricky dress to wear and each of these ladies have brought something different to it. While none are ideal, my vote would go somewhere in between Delta and Kelly's looks.
I am interested to hear your thoughts...Who do you think wore it best?

Topshop's Trendy Pink PVC Skirt

One of the hottest commodities this season is Topshop's pale pink PVC vinyl pencil skirt. Already Sold out and Worn out by many different celebrities and bloggers, this sexy pastel skirt has made a memorable impression on fashion lovers everywhere. Inspired by the looks below, I created this set on ways to style the in-demand pencil skirt.

Who Wore It Better?
Topshop's Pale Pink PVC Vinyl Skirt

British actress Ashley Madekwe featured the sophisticated pink skirt on her blog (Ashley Ring My Bell), expertly styling it with a white angora Topshop sweater, a slick black Balenciaga biker jacket and Saint Laurent ankle strap sandals.
Upcoming songstress Ella Henderson went for an endearing pastel pairing with a cool mint 'Jazzie' embellished knitted sweater and matching court shoes, all by Topshop.

Lucy Mecklenburgh looked elegant in the pastel pink PVC skirt, choosing to style it with a fuzzy black cropped jumper and chunky-heeled 'Stomp' shoes, both by Topshop. The reality star added a touch of burgundy to her look with a mock croc clutch.
The Saturdays singer Rochelle Wiseman-Humes was also spotted in the chic pencil skirt, outfitted with a black tshirt, floral statement necklace and nude ankle-strap sandals.

Ciara stepped out in the sought-after vinyl skirt, sweetly paired with a fluffy pink mohair sweater by Doriane van Overeem, Miu Miu sunnies & white pointy Gianvito Rossi pumps.
British model Atlanta de Cadenet opted to primly style her lacquered rose-hued skirt with a crisp white tied-up shirt and nude ankle-strap shoes.

Who Wore It Better?
As for 'Who Wore It Better' ... It's a really tough decision as each of these ladies bring something new and fresh to this highly coveted pink PVC pencil skirt. I liked the dash of burgundy Lucy Mecklenburgh added and I also liked Ashley Madekwe's polished styling.

Who do you think wore this popular PVC skirt better?
How would you style it?

Who Wore Burberry Prorsum Better?

Who Wore It Better?
Burberry Prorsum FW 2013
Heart Print Shirt

Forget about spots and stripes, this season it's all about heart prints, which have been popularized by Burberry Prorsum and their irresistible Fall/Winter 2013 collection. After this claret red polka heart shirt hit the runway, it became an instant hit with stars everywhere. Here's a closer look...

Karlie Kloss captured all interest at the Burberry Prorsum FW13 runway show, sharply dressed in this distinctive heart print silk crépe blouse with detachable velvet-finish rubber collar and heritage-inspired epaulettes. Karlie's look was paired with a burgundy translucent rubber pencil skirt, a leopard and check print Burberry bag and animal print flats.

1. South Korean star Yoon Eun Hye was the first to wear the deep red heart print blouse out, back in June 2013. She styled it with the runway skirt, a studded animal print bag and black platform pumps. I find her bag competing for attention with the blouse.
2. Paula Patton picked out the same sophisticated look straight off the catwalk, for an appearance in NYC just last week. The 37-year-old actress added white pumps to her outfit.
3. Bollywood beauty Jacqueline Fernandez wore her heart patterned blouse with a slick pair of burgundy jeans, accompanied by a black leather belt and Christian Louboutin heels.

4. Tamar Braxton is yet another fan to fall for the charms of this adorably printed blouse. She also wore the look this September, with a pair of distressed denim jeans, a multi-chain-link belt and black Christian Louboutin pumps.
5. Whilst everyone else wore the Burberry shirt for publicity shots, Victoria Beckham buttoned up in style for a trip to the airport earlier this month. The designer strolled through JFK in the polka heart blouse, teamed with bootleg jeans, platform heels & oversized sunnies.

The heart print shirt was also prominent in the pages of magazines & Fall campaigns, seen on Lily Collins (in Glamour), Sienna Miller and Elle Fanning in Vogue Australia

If you have a spare $795 lying around, this elegant claret red heart print shirt with detachable rubber collar can be all yours from Burberry.com. Or you could get a cheaper copy via Choies.

As for 'Who Wore It Best', my vote goes to Victoria, her high-waisted flared out jeans were the prefect finish for a chic 70's inspired look. A special mention also goes out to Yoon Eun, I liked the refinement of her look, but without those chunky shoes and the over-detailed bag.
Who Do You Think Wore It Best?
