Selena Gomez stunned in a scarlet red lace Dolce & Gabbana dress, fitted with glittery embellishings. Her black pumps are by Casadei.
Kate Moss showed off her incredible style prowess in an elegant black off-the-shoulder zip-up Prada dress with flaired out skirt. She jazzed up her look with a Longchamp zebra print clutch and colour-blocked Christian Louboutin heels.
Olivia Wilde looked suave in a black midriff baring top and red checkered pencil skirt, both by A.L.C. She accessorized with black ankle strap Jerome C. Rousseau sandals.


Vanessa's All White Wardrobe

Vanessa Hudgens is the perfect poster girl for the summery all white trend. The 24-year-old star was spotted in three different chalky chic looks this weeks.
Left: Vanessa masters the midriff trend in an embroidered white long-sleeved blouse and tailored pants by Catherine Malandrino. A topknot, tan Giuseppe Zanotti metal-back sandals and a black Givenchy bag complete her look.
Middle: Vanessa looked trés chic during a London outing, wearing a floaty white Lovers + Friends dress. Her bohemian look is styled with a trendy black turban, Givenchy bag and flat black Joe's Jeans pumps. 
Right: Wearing another white look by Catherine Malandrino, Vanessa was attractive in a cropped long-sleeved knitted top and midi-pencil skirt, worn with her Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

Floaty Frocks

Miranda Kerr makes an optimistic appearance in Japan, wearing a vibrant orange and army green feather print Wes Gordon dress with handkerchief hemline. Sexy animal print satin shoes by Bionda Castana perfect her outfit.

British model Clara Paget is stunning in a leopard print halterneck maxi gown that I would love to beg/borrow/steal.

Trendy Trews

Karolina Kurkova is city slick in a pair of red denim skinny jeans, styled with a black wrap shirt, Givenchy duffle bag and leopard print sandals. 
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is modish in a monochromatic pair of striped pants, worn with a white tank, Burberry sunnies and Brian Atwood heels.
Gwen Stefani nails the rocker chic look in a black leather V-neck top, cropped white jeans, a two-tone bag and an impressive pair of black Maison Martin Margiela open-toe ankle boots.


Printastic

Mum-to-be Jaime King swapped out her heels for a comfy pair of white loafers, worn with a royal blue, black and white flower printed sheath dress by Lovers + Friends.
Ashley Simpson went indie in a white fringed Asos blouse, a red and purple tribal embroidered Sachin+Babi mini skirt and nude lace-up ShoeMint sandals.
Model Harley Viera-Newton donned a retro Sportmax shift dress in a blue and white houndstooth print. White pointy-toe pumps and a red sling bag accompany her outfit.
Lydia Hearst is endearing in a red and white lipstick print Erin Fetherston frock, ideally paired with coral and gold Charlotte Olympia platforms and a colourful necklace.
Mandy Moore is kaleidoscopic in a multi-patterned Clover Canyon dress, with black heels.

A Pop of Pink

Stacy Keibler makes a stylish appearance in a fitted cashmere tee paired with a lovely pink, white and black block striped and buttoned-up skirt by Christian Siriano. White pumps and an arrow printed belt finalize her look.
Nikita's Lyndsy Fonseca looked beautiful in a watermelon pink draped Maria Lucia Hohan halter-strap dress, which she styled with a gold box Ashlyn'D clutch and metallic Diane von Furstenburg heels.
Nicole Scherzinger displayed her svelte figure in a flattering black and white scuba dress by Finders Keepers. The X-Factor judge added a pop of colour with pink Pedro Garcia pumps.

Vogue Japan is Pretty in Pink for Fall 2013

It's inevitable, seasons and trends change sooner than we expect, and with it comes a whole new colour palette. It seems that this Fall, pink is 'in vogue', pun intended. Vogue Japan spells out the pretty pink colour trend in their August 2013 issue, with a beguiling editorial entitled 'Posing in Pink'. It features Dutch model Bette Franke lensed across an orchard of beautiful cherry blossom trees. 

Along with the romantic dulcet pink tones, we can also expect light blues and creams to colour our winter wardrobes. I am looking forward to this lighter take on Fall shades, it's a refreshing break away from the darker sombre hues that we are used to.

Bette is chic in a cerise pink tweed jacket and matching skirt by Chanel. On the runway, this look was styled with leather boots and a blue fur hat.

Dior presents an oversized petal pink coat with black sheer hemmed skirt and large cream neck wrap. I liked the play on boxy proportions in this sophisticated look.

Bette wears a caffe au lait coloured, crystal studded ensemble by Rodarte. The oversized blazer appears to be an ongoing trend for the season. Her asymmetrical skirt was styled (thankfully) without the nude tights seen on the runway.

Wearing two separate looks from Louis Vuitton's Fall 2013 collection, Bette is styled in a lavish fur trimmed pink satin maxi coat with floral slip dress. The juxtaposition of a flimsy negligee with a thermal winter coat is only something we can expect from the desk of Marc Jacobs.

For his own collection, Marc introduced deeper tints of the romantic hue. Bette is attired in a modified version of Marc Jacobs' mink sequined pajama shirt dress.

This Fall, trade in your classic black coat for something rose tinted. Jonathan Saunders offers us a plush mohair version in cherry blossom pink.

Bette wears a baby blue draped wool skirt suit by Nina Ricci, with dazzling studded heels by Giuseppe Zanotti.

Celine brings us interesting volume in neutral shades, seen in this wide-sleeved shirt with high neck, combined with a boucle flaired-out-hem skirt.

Bette pairs pink and blue in these two pieces from Carven's Fall collection - a cozy oversized candied pink robe coat and a slinky steel blue sheath dress.

Prada initiates the gingham trend for Fall in a carnation pink and white coat dress.

Bette is elegant in a tea rose and royal blue scalloped edge wool dress with sheer neck insert by Valentino.

Roksanda Ilincic takes a futuristic approach to the blush pink trend. Bette wears a PVC high shine taffeta top with full sleeves and embellished pencil skirt from the designer's Fall range.

Bette is elaborately fringed in a diamante decked, ostrich feathered dress in the brightest cherry hue, from the runway of Dries van Noten.

Chloé Embellished Tank

Three international starlets were all lured by the chic casual appeal of an embellished arrow tank top from Chloé's Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Each of them have styled the white beaded top in their own unique way...But who wears it best? 

1. South Korean singer Seo In Young paired the white crepe embellished cropped top with a pair of slim-fitting black pants and chunky black Louboutin platform heels.
2. Diane Kruger opted to wear her Chloé tank sans the the sheer second layer, which shows off her midriff. The German beauty styled her look with Current/Elliott skinny jeans, a black Balmain bag and jelly flat sandals by Chanel. 
3. Taiwanese actress Pace Wu took a sophisticated approach to styling her crystal beaded arrow tank top. The Asian style icon wore the same silk bermuda shorts as seen on the runway. She carried a matt gold Chloé clutch and posed in strappy silver Jimmy Choo sandals. Pace also casually slung an ivory Chloé blazer over her shoulders.
4. On the runway, British model Rosie Tapner wore the elegant white tank with matching bermuda shorts and bronze metallic pumps.

As for 'Who Wore It Better', Pace Wu is my pick for keeping the tank top classy and dressing it up in neutral monotones. The sleek blazer and her metallic Jimmy Choo heels were the perfect accompaniments. P.S. Don't you think this tank would make for a great DIY idea?

Zuhair Murad Fall Couture 2013

In view of his exquisite couture collections, it's easy to see how Zuhair Murad has weaved a spell across Hollywood, with fans like Jennifer Lopez, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Swift.

For Fall 2013, Murad takes us on a stroll through an 'Enchanted Forest', where luminosity directs the way in the form of glistening crystal beads, iridescent embroideries and lustrous metallics. Twinkling twigs and budding vine designs ascend across the array of fitted mermaid gowns, illusion tulle bodices and flaired out skirts. 

Sumptuous velvets, satins, delicate guipure lace and liquid lamés are boldly tinted in rich blue hues from vibrant sapphire to indigo and a darker ultramarine. The collection varies from the faintest romantic nudes to sultry charcoal and a swish of bordeaux. Dark moss green gowns enhanced the woodland theme, garnished with a sequined maze of bare tree branches. This season Murad also experiments with interesting woven necklines, sculpted corsets, elegant peplum skirt suits and a flurry of feathers.

Emmy Rossum steals the spotlight in this beautiful navy, black and white floral print ballroom skirt, which she coordinated with a cross-strap top, a cherry red belt and matching clutch. Her entire look is by Carolina Herrera.
The always stylish Jessica Alba pairs her yellow and white Carolina Herrera brush stroke skirt with an orange top and black sheer-sleeved blazer. Her look is vivified by a sunny pair of Brian Atwood ankle-strap sandals.
Russian actress Ravshana Kurkova savvily mixes designer pieces in a midnight hued high-low hem Christian Dior skirt and a yellow embroidered Peter Pilotto collared shirt. Decorative sunflower shaded sandals accompany her voguish ensemble.
Salma Hayek brightened up NYC in a yellow and white abstract printed summer frock by Christopher Kane, worn with a notable pair of black cuffed McQ Alexander McQueen heels.


Indie Chic

Suki Waterhouse is girly grunge in a pink, red and black colourblock dress by Kate Spade, toughened up with a leather biker jacket and worn out black trainers.

This is a stylish week in the life of Saturdays singer, Mollie King.

Kate Hudson opts for darker tones in a chocolate brown chiffon Elie Saab gown with embellished bodice and asymmetrical hemline. Her cap studded heels are by Louboutin.
Catherine Zeta Jones made a glamourous red carpet appearance in a black strapless lace gown by Maria Lucia Hohan, featuring a middle split and see-through panels on the skirt.
Blake Lively was attractive in a grey round neck tank, paired with a crystal encrusted pencil skirt by Burberry Prorsum. Nude Christian Louboutin pumps fit her feet.
Naomi Campbell shows off the expert fit of Azzedine Alaia in a distinguished black gown with frill-tiered maxi skirt.

Making a Floral Crown

When I first saw floral crowns blossom into trend, I knew it would be the perfect idea for a DIY. I, unfortunately don't share the same crafting streak that so many other inventive bloggers do. So I asked my dear web friend Kacie Cone from the blog Shy Girl Loud Voice to share her artistry with us and demonstrate the simplest way to make a floral headband.

Californian-raised, Portland-based Kacie is a talented singer/songwriter with a knack for bohemian style and a genius on the guitar. I hope it won't be long before we see her debut album in stores, or if not that first, a Free People campaign is most certainly in her near future. I will now leave you in the creative hands of the lovely Kacie. 

Take it Away Kacie...

It'd be pretty hard to miss this summers new trend of flower crowns, but not so hard to miss some of those steep prices retailers try to sell them for. I was able to make about seven or eight flower crowns for under $15 using only materials from the dollar store. Not only will this DIY save you some money but it will also save you some time, seeing as making these flower crowns is way less time consuming then shopping for the perfect find. The best part is being able to put your own personal touch on something you create...so lets get started!

You Will Need: 

All you are going to need for this DIY is some flowers, a headband of any kind that you wish, 

a pair of scissors and a hot glue gun. 

Step 1:

The first thing you are going to need to do is pull the flowers off their stems. 

They should slide off very easily!

Step 2:

The next step is to cut off the small stem but beware because that small stem will fly across the room if your not careful!

Step 3:

Lastly hot glue your flower directly on to the headband and make sure to hold it in place for a couple seconds to ensure it sticks.

All Done!

And that's it! As you can see from the pictures shown above, the possibilities for your flower crowns are endless, so be creative and have fun!

Celebrity Inspired Floral Crowns

Celebrities have been paving the flower path with many different and endearing floral looks. You can customize the size and colours of a DIY floral crown to your personal specifications. Go dainty like Alexa Chung, Katy Perry and Kirsten Dunst. Try white daisies for an indie summertime look, as seen on Aly Michalka and Vanessa Hudgens. Or if you're particularly enamored by the trend, go big with romantic rose wreathes in pretty shades as Pixie Lott, Delta Goodrem and Lana Del Dey did.
