People's Choice Awards 2014
Awards Season was ushered in last night by the 40th Annual People's Choice Awards, held in Los Angeles. This more casual awards show brought us many snazzy mini dresses on the red carpet, and also a few lackluster outfits. These are all the must-see looks from the event. Show hosts Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs changed outfits during the event, with Kat wearing a sapphire blue Oliver Tolentino peplum dress and Beth in a petal sequined skater number by Kate Spade. Kaley Cuoco was pictured backstage in a black and blue Sachin + Babi dress with floral lattice cut-out skirt. |

Anna Faris selected to wear slacks in this shimmering nude ensemble by Naeem Khan. MTV actress Greer Grammar looked pretty in a gold lace embroidered mini dress. ah yes as soon as I saw the PCAs were tonight my first though was "I can't wait to judge the fashion on frills and thrills!" You got this up so quick too I'm impressed, thats why this is one of my favorite blogs!
Usually it's so hard for me to pick my favorite but this time I think a lot of the looks are pretty bad. Heidi Klums dress is so so bad, shes gorgeous but this dress does not flatter her shape and the big bow is obnoxious. Taylor Spreitler's look isn't working for me either, the skirt should be higher up so shes showing a little less skin and I don't know if it's just the lighting in the picture of the top looks like a different shade of white. Drew Berrymore's choice is kind of just safe and boring, I know shes pregnant but that dress is still bad on her! My favorite by far is Adelaide Kane. Her dress is the perfect combination of cute/flirty and elegant!
Nina Dobrev is the only one that has a dress that really highlights her beauty, in my opinion.

I was going to make a post about the dresses but when I saw them I tough hmmmmm no! I don't know what happened but there are so many bad and uninteresting dresses! Maybe it's just me haha. The only ones I like are those of Alisson Williams and of Stana Katic (and I REALLY like that one). OMG why did Heid choose that dress- it does not flatter her awesome figure at all. I love seeing Britney looking so polished and well put together. Sandy B is the best dressed on this list for me- no plunging neckline or any other desperate gymic...just chic chic prints. By the way Sam keep these posts coming for award season- you are my go to site for who wore what :)

I might be the only one but my favorite look is Beth Behrs. That dress looks stunning on her! Malin Akerman's dress is a pain in the eyes. It looks horrible on her! Very unflattering. Maybe she didn't look in the mirror before she left the house. Heidi's dress isn't much better! Sam I don't even dare to say it but the weather over here is amazing for January. Sunshine and 15 degrees. Can't remember when we had that this time of the year :D. Wish you a wonderful day sweetheart!!

A wonderfull selection of dresses
First of all, I really love your blog, honey! Second of all, it's funny how all celebrities follow the same trends haha, all of the ladies in the first and third set of photos look like they've been dressed by the same stylist. I like a lot of these looks and hate some.
In my opinion, the best dressed are Naya Rivera (she's starting to look a lot like Kim Kardashian), Jessica Alba, Jennifer Hudson, Adelaide Kane and Anna Faris.
Worst dressed are Emily Deschanel, Malin Akerman, all the ladies in the "Get Printy" category, and Britney Spears.

Here my choice: as best dressed I say Beth Behrs (simple and classy); Jessica Alba (im not a big fan of the dress but I think suits her divinely and is perfect for the occasion); Nina Dobrev (fab midi dress, want one as this!); Drew Berrymore (super sweet!); Adelaide Kane (in love with that lace dress, really good on her); Greer Grammar (flawless, is my ever fav among all!).While I dislike Heidi Klum, I mean she is gorgeous but I dont think the dress is good on her. My top 2 favorites are Anna Farris and Jennifer Huston.
Jennifer has come to know her body, embraces it and knows what really fits her. Always flawless.
Anna, just took it up the notch with this look. Very grown up, classy and sophisticated.
As for Miss Akerman, Really? Not flattering on her at all. I get the cut out in front but it just wasn't done right. Love her makeup and hair though. She is very pretty.

Most of all I like Sandra Bullock outfit and Nina Dobrev in that amazing dress. But the dress of Adelaide Kane is the most gorgeous, just a dream dress, seriously! And what had happened to Drew Barrymore, I have never seen her so full-bodied. ( that's not actually bad, but I'm just suprised)

I like Stana Katic's elegant gown and the two-tone dresses particularly the first one. I suppose my least favourites are the printed ones and the very short styles.

I know you described Naya Rivera's dress as alluring, but do you really like it? I'm kind of... I don't know what I am, let's say I'm torn.:) I wanna like it because it's on her and it's MK, but that dress is just weird!
