Looks of the Week - 02/03/13

With all the Oscar parties to dress up for, this was a fantastic week for fashion. Here is the usual roundup of celebrity style, on and off the red carpet.

Citrus Splash

Chinese actress Nini radiates poise and vibrance in a sunflower yellow embroidered dress by Giambattista Valli, paired with nude platform pumps.
Solange Knowles brings on the brights in a tangerine Proenza Schouler coat worn over a daffodil shift dress. The fashion savvy singer carried a matching clutch and wore vivid yellow heels by Sergio Rossi.
Jayma Mays was cutely colour-blocked in a zesty neon lime, orange, black and nude shirtdress by Paper London. Nude pumps finalize her outfit.

Street Beat
Miranda Kerr styled her Stella McCartney checked blazer with a black tee, skinny denim jeans, a Givenchy duffle bag and Givenchy zipper flats.
Mollie King charms in a minted green mini skirt with emerald floral motifs by Moschino Cheap & Chic, worn with a white sheer-sleeved blouse and adorable socks and coral shoe combo.
Olivia Palermo steps out in stellar style, wearing a floral peplum Tibi top and skinny jeans, topped with a fur hemmed coat by Felder Felder and printed Manolo Blahnik heels.
Vanessa Hudgens looked engaging in a blue, orange and white floral print frill dress by Sachin + Babi, paired with nude cap-toed pumps.

Sleek Silhouettes
Rose Byrne defined simple elegance in a streamlined white dress by Lanvin, with cut-out back, slitted skirt & waistband. The all white theme continued with a Chanel clutch & Lanvin pumps.
Camila Alves picked out an attractive fitted cerise pink cap-sleeved gown with key-hole beaded neck by Escada. A white clutch and Brian Atwood heels complete her outfit.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley flies the striped flag for Chanel in a sophisticated strapless jumpsuit with palazzo pants, styled with side swept waves and a long gold necklace.
Isla Fisher looked striking in a strapless cobalt blue fishtail gown by Monique Lhuillier.
Natalie Portman exuded elegance in a white Dior gown with black ribboned strap detail.

White Sands and Sea Shells
Nina Dobrev sizzled in a gold sequined top and white shorts set by Michael Kors, enhanced by a metallic belt and strappy gold Jimmy Choo sandals.
Julianne Hough was delightful in an ivory Houghton Madeline gown with interesting floral peplum frill and an embellished bodice.
Kate Bosworth wears a daintily embroidered Giambattista Valli long-sleeved dress in a melange of pastel hues. Gold Casadei sandals and a braided halo complete her outfit.
Paz Vega went high fashion in a white couture gown by Stéphane Rolland, laid with ruffled petals upon the keyhole cut neckline and long sleeves. Heavily wedged bronze and white heels finalize her dramatic look.

Spellbound
Heiress Lydia Hearst looked ethereal in an ice grey strapless empire line gown with metallic embroidered bustier.
Disney doll Kelsey Chow captivated in a beautifully shaded sage green embroidered chiffon gown with high slit by Tony Ward.
Fan Bingbing made a splendid appearance in a coral peach Elie Saab gown with sweeping skirt and embellished caped top.
Naomi Harris graced the Vanity Fair Oscar party in a serene seafoam green Monique Lhuillier draped chiffon off-the shoulder gown.
Debby Ryan went for a glamorous approach in a silver grey Lisa Ho corset pleated halter-neck dress, cleverly paired with a lemon Proenza Schouler envelope clutch.

I'm loving the huge comeback of neon colors this year, especially citrus tones! I'm also obsessing over bold floral prints like the street style looks you posted (Olivia Palermo can do no wrong). Great trends!

Ma préférée serait Vanessa Hudgens. Sa robe est classe,
My favourite would be Vanessa Hudgens. Her dress is classy with beautiful spring patterns, and her nude shoes match perfectly with the rest. The whole outfit looks simple-not simple, whoch I love.
But then I also like Miranda Kerr's casual but chic look, Camilla Alves' pink dress (I'm more attracted by the colour though, even if the shape of the dress looks gorgeous too),and Kelsey Chow's dress. I'd like to have one like hers but I wouldn't know when to wear it..
