Chanel Pre-Spring 2013 Jumpsuit
Keeping in with striped trend, this version of 'Who Wore It Better' pits 6 international starlets against each other in an epic styling battle of Chanel. The outfit in question is a black and white striped strapless jumpsuit from Chanel's Pre-Spring 2013 collection. A difficult silhouette for anyone to wear, this one ought to be interesting...
2. British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley kept her look minimalistic chic, adding a long layered pearl necklace and a Chanel 'Lego' clutch bag to her jumpsuit. This fitted bodice with wide-leg silhouette is ideally tailored to her model height and figure.
3. Chinese model Sui He went geometric by pairing her vertically striped jumpsuit with a sheer black horizontally striped top, creating a checkered effect. Red heels finalized Sui's outfit.
5. 12-year-old Willow Smith had the monochromatic jumpsuit resized to her small waist size but the pants don't have the same streamlined effect as it does on the others. A cropped leather biker jacket, black bowler hat & spiked PVC Louboutin pumps complete her edgy look.
6. Miley Cyrus looked sleek in the linear leg-lengthening ensemble, opting for simple styling with a gold collar necklace and bright red lips.
Who Wore It Better?
I like the gracefulness Rosie brought to the jumpsuit, the fit is perfect on her. But I have to go with Caroline as my top pick, as I preferred her perceptive and contemporary styling. She transformed this piece into so much more than just a striped jumpsuit.

I really like Sui He's outfit! That horizontal striped top gave the vertical striped suit so much dimension - you get the three prints! That's really clever actually...:)

I have to say Willow looks horrible, at first I was confused because I thought it was her brother wearing a jumpsuit. Apart from her, everyone styled it in an amazing way, but I think Janice wins. :)

Hi Sam! The Chanel jumpsuit is really cool but I think is pretty hard to style perfectly cause the stripes! I agree with your thoughts, Rosie wears it in a very graceful way! Rosie. It's a unique piece so I like the way she just focused on that and showed it off.
These photos just show how an item of clothing can be interpreted in so many ways with the addition of different acessories etc. I like Caroline's look - she manages to look stylish yet relaxed.

I think that Sui He looked best because she didn´t "hide" the jumpsuit and yet knew what to add not to look too much "all over". However I think that Willow Smith looks quite awkward with shoes that are not her age and with a jacket that accentuates her child-body. She looks more like a strange doll than like an elegant Chanel lady.

Oh wow, another piece of clothing I absolutely love on everyone else, but can't pull off myself :) This jumpsuit is a stunner, Karl can do no wrong in my book, and stripes are my all-time favorites. I love how each lady styled it in her own, unique way. Rosie is so graceful and glamorous, but I think Sui is my favorite, because her outfit is both toned down and fabulous. I love the top she threw over the jumpsuit and the pop of color in her shoes. She looks fabulous!

Ooooh, I was actually wondering if you wear going to do a post on this jumpsuit! I saw it on Miley and then a few others and it's such a interesting item, I was so curious to see how they all stacked up against each other. (It's a pretty challenging suit to wear, the silhouette with the stripes, yikes! Maybe only for the vertically gifted?)
I think out of all of them, Caroline wore it the best. She stylized it in a way that felt really true as to what she likes to wear and she made the jumpsuit actually look wearable! I love it with the blazer and the floppy hat, it's quite sharp looking! I hate to do it, but Will Smith is my worst dressed pick of this one, the portions of her jacket seem so off, I don't think that jacket can even zip. (And what in the world did she do to her pretty hair?)
