Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2011
The young and skinny showed off their fashion sense at the Kids Choice Awards in Los Angeles this weekend. Up-and-coming stars competed with popular young actresses for their share of the media glare on Nickelodeon's orange carpet. Some were successful, while others were fashionably ill-fated.

Sofia Vergara ditched the diva dresses for a change and wore an embellished navy tunic with skinny jeans and navy peep-toes. My favourite look is Arielle Kebbel in a pinstripe blazer, tank top and black shorts by LOFT. She accessorized this cute and classy outfit with a Chanel bag, bejewelled Alice band and red sandals. Rosario Dawson chose a one-shoulder tiered eggplant dress, nude heels and jade clutch bag. |

It's a bit of a miss with the black strappy BCBG sandals and ornate neckpiece. Sitcom star Daniella Monet shimmers in a fully sequined Tibi mini with yellow Jimmy Choo's. |

Kim Kardashian is frilly in a cream (very) low-cut dress with tan shoes and belt by Azzedine Alaia. Selena Gomez is comfortably casual in an ensemble by Christian Cota. She added some colour to the chiffon-print top and white shorts with aqua Camila Skovgaard sandals. Another version of the nude strapless dress is worn by singer/actress Ariana Grande, with Christian Louboutin 'Pampas' pumps. |
