Friday Frills

The longer we live, the more we begin to realize the impact of attitude on life.
Attitude is more important than facts.
It is more important than the past and than what will be.
More important than education, money, background and circumstances,
Than failures and successes,
And worth more than what other people think or say or do.

It is more important than appearance, talent or skill.
It will make or break a company...a dream...a life…a home.
The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.

We cannot change our past and where we came from.
We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way.
And we cannot change the inevitable.

The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude…
I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.
And so it is with you…we are all in charge of our own attitudes.

Thanks for another inspirational reminder Sam! Our attitudes do indeed have a significant impact on how we roll through life.

I certainly hope that the issues with the infrastructure in SA will be worked out eventually. Having to live with power surges certainly sounds like it can be difficult. Yes Won Bin does look extremely good for his aged. I think he's more chiseled now too :)

Hi Sam! You know, when you get older is a thing you learn by yourslef, and I really agree with you. Is so useless spending time on what is the past, moaning and regreting, it only affects the present. Instead I think that what we chose to have as attitude have the control of the facts, the important is always to be positive and have good thoughts:) Hugs dear and thanks for this post! :***

You are so right, Sam. Love how you encapsulated in a few paragraphs the way to survive life's bumps and bruises and get on with it. Bravo for your wise words in this post. We all have hardships and joys and if we don't strive for an optimistic outlook on all parts of life, our lives will be so much less joyful. Thanks so much for dropping by this week ... been illustrating up a storm and am just now getting back to my blogging buddies! Have a fabulous weekend, Sam! ~xoSandy
