Looks of the Week - 24/11/12

The weekly round-up of celebrity style, on and off the red carpet.

Neutral Balance
Alessandra Ambrosio displaying her pins in a chic camel shorts and white shirt ensemble by Colcci. Her look was styled with a metallic collar fringe necklace and black strappy sandals.
Alexa Chung brought her favourite leopard print coat out to play, wearing it over a prim white shirt & black scallop lace skirt by Jason Wu. She accessorized with a two-tone 'Grand Tourista' tote that could hold the world and embellished mesh peep-toe boots, both by Jason Wu.
Cheryl Cole showed off her curves in a luxe leather caramel coloured mini dress by The Row. Ruby lips and nude pointy-toe pumps by Jimmy Choo complete her look.

Impressive Dresses

Scarlett Johansson strikes a pose in a black and green foliage print Rodarte dress with an architectural neckline. Edgy black ankle-strap heels by Gucci complete her fierce look.
Taylor Swift showed her love for sparkle in a gold embroidered Zuhair Murad mini dress, her feet fitted with strappy Jimmy Choo sandals.
Berenice Marlohe proves she is the one of the best dressed Bond Girls ever, stepping out in yet another fabulous creation - this time a black Julien MacDonald dress with a feathered and beaded strapless bodice. Her crystal covered heels are by Louboutin.
Elisha Cuthbert made a welcomed return to the red carpet, looking like an Oscar statuette in a gleaming gold column gown from Georges Chakra's Edition line.

Street Wise
Olivia Palermo brightens up a cold New York day in a yellow wool-blend peacoat by Old Navy, teamed with a black turtleneck ad leather leggings. Her adorable insignia slippers are by Stubbs and Wootton.
Olivia Wilde styled up her arrow print Rag & Bone skinny jeans with an elegant black coat, grey knitted scarf, black ankle boots and a dashing fedora.
Miranda Kerr's supermodel street style remains unparalleled. Here she wears a green Acne sweater and asymmetrical cut maxi skirt with a quilted black Balenciaga jacket. A bottle green Christian Louboutin handbag and Tabitha Simmons boots finalize her look.
Gwen Stefani dons an appealing boy-meets-girl look, layered in a white collared shirt, black sweater and tailored blazer, along with a cute checked shorts, black tights and boots.

Colour on the Red Carpet
Kerry Washington wears a vibrant yellow shaded Stella McCartney lace frock, expertly accessorized with orange Louboutin pumps and a matching Kotur clutch.
Carrie Underwood looked stunning in a rich purple beaded gown with high-neck, cap sleeves and trailing skirt, designed by Abed Mahfouz.
Katy Perry's more refined side was displayed in this pretty floral printed silk Dolce & Gabbana gown with bejeweled belted waistline.

Risk Takers
Jessica Biel showed off a unique red carpet look for her new movie, shimmering in a sheer silver sequined pantsuit by Oscar de la Renta, paired with glitzy Manolo Blahnik sandals.
Diane Kruger does retro glamour with ease, pictured in a navy blue lace jumpsuit by Jason Wu, accented by a black waist belt and Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.
Mischa Barton bravely mixes prints with a bronzed flower printed tuxedo jacket, dark blue floral jacquard trousers and ikat patterned loafers. Her outfit was anchored by a crisp white buttoned-up shirt and Stella McCartney bag.
Rihanna takes the masculine trend literally, wearing a grey and blue striped sweater and pants suit, with white shirt from Acne's menswear collection. An oversized marine blue Raf Simmons coat was thrown over for good measure.

Another great week of style, which is your favourite?

My favorite must be Olivia Palermo since I just got a fake leather skirt and I'm crazy about current leather looks.
Haha seeing Jessica Biel makes me think about a piece of news I heard about her this week - that she was shocked over the fact that in Europe we go naked into the sauna!
Thank you for your kind comment on my blog! Countryside is something we do have here in Finland. 70% of my country is covered with forest, did you know that?

Really not a fan of Mischa Barton's risky floral jacquard trousers, they're not the most flattering piece, are they? xx
