Drawing notes from Baltic mythology and seeped in folkloric inspiration, upcoming fashion brand Narciss presents a beautifully feminine collection for Summer 2013. Latvian-born, London based designer Alise Trautmane defines her label as 'humble luxury'; graceful statement pieces that add a dose of rich colour and demure refinement to your wardrobe.

For Summer 2013, Trautmane dips into a bright palette of fuchsia, yellow, tangerine, enhanced with softer notes of powder blue, rose pink, along with darker black and navy tones. The standout looks center on a set of merino wool, microfiber and cashmere dresses and skirts with sheer horizontally striped panels, accented with dainty pink lace. My favourite are fluttery sleeveless silk tunics with ruffled trims that elegantly dress up a pair of chic tuxedo pants. 

Metallic glossed dresses and tailored blazers are decked with fine gold embroidery, while quilted and crochet lace looks delineates the designer's creative use of interesting textures. Sophisticated coats and lightweight jackets make the transition into fall a truly stylish one.
