Friday Frills

Forget about the days when it's been cloudy,
But don't forget your hours in the sun.

Forget about the times you've been defeated,
But don't forget the victories you've won.

Forget about the mistakes that you can't change now,
But don't forget the lessons you have learnt.

Forget about the misfortunes you've encountered,
But don't forget the times your luck has turned.

Forget about the people who have disappointed you,
But don't forget the ones who showed you kindness.

Forget about the days when you've been lonely,
But don't forget the friends you've made along the way.

Forget about the lost opportunities of the past,
But don't forget to seize the possibilities of the present.

Forget about the plans that didn't seem to work out right,
But don't forget to always have a dream.

“A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity;
An optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.” Winston Churchill

Hi Sam! Hope your days is going fine, mine is good!:) I always enjoy your frills, everytime save the time I need to read carefully your words, I think they are always worth and very inspiring. As these ones, I think the best way to face with all the disappointments, mistakes, misadventures we had or lived, is just pressing the botton "erase" and start all over again, having in mind only the good purposes and dreams that push us to move on. Forget about the past, just take the moment and enjoy the best of it. The world is unfortunatelly full of pessimists that try to keep up down and to their sad level, just think of ourselves and be concentrated on what we are doing for ourselves, our person comes always first:) Happy Friday my friends, hugs! xo

I don't consider myself to be a pessimist, but I do think that bad news sticks with me for much longer than I'd like. Working on that--but first, enjoying this weekend!
