High necklines, three-quarter sleeves and tea-length hems lent a certain modesty and grace to the range of stately looks. The colour scheme enchanted in a rich ruby red, muted nudes, a languid sip of iced lemonade, pale peach and a flourish of pink coral.
Beautifully embroidered guipure lace, floaty chiffons and sumptuous satins lay the foundation for ravishing evening gowns that swept the floor with imperial elegance. Waists were clinched in with skinny belts, adding a modern feel to the time-honoured princess silhouettes. Silk threading and glistening pearls added the final intricate touches to this exquisite collection.
