Friday Frills

You never achieve real success unless you like what you are doing.
No one has ever succeeded in a line of endeavor which they did not like.

Your chances of success are directly proportional
to the degree of pleasure you derive from what you do.

If you are in a job you hate, face the fact squarely and get out.
Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.

It's better to be a failure in something you love,
Than attempting to be a success in something you don't.

Don't set compensation as a goal.
Find something you are passionate about, and the compensation will follow.

Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.
Enthusiasm is the yeast that makes your hopes shine to the stars.

Enthusiasm is the sparkle in your eyes, the swing in your step.
The irresistible surge of will and energy to execute your ideas.

The more you love what you are doing,
the more successful it will be for you.

Hi Sam, this is so true, one of my fav frills from you. I see many people unhappy on what they do but of course, in such hard times, is also hard to leave a certain job to run dreams. But for me, even though is always a risk, is the best choice, life is one and never get success if you dont do things with love and enthusiasm. A really great reminder!:) Happy weekend Sam! xo

Sam, your Friday posts are always so inspirational! And I love how they envelop just about any topic. I'm currently working a part-ish time job that I love, as you know (!! :) ) and am quite happy that things are starting to go the right way. I hope that things are going well for you, too, you lovely, lovely lady! May your weekend be absolutely extravagant. :D

Beautiful and inspirational words as always, Sam! I know what you mean by using oil on damaged or different type of hair. To be honest, I received that argan oil and some other oil for face from the same company and I don't like any of their products. I know it's not the fault of the products, but it's just not something that I like. I know other people would enjoy them. It's quite tricky when it comes to writing a review, but I can't say that I like their stuff when I am either indifferent or I don't like it. At the end of it it's my opinion..
Happy weekend, Sam!

Lovely thoughts to kick off the weekend! I agree with doing what you truly love even when everyone else wants you to do something that they think would be better for you. It's really about trusting your heart, isn't it?

I found it amazing, dear Sam! It was exaclty what I was thinking today, whether or not I enjoyed a particular thing... you know, internet now is all about numbers, numbers, and where's the sincerity in that... it's so true - it's enthusiasm that changes everything! Hope you have a great weekend! denisesplanet com

Beautiful post, very inspiring <3
Also I watched Seb Stan's CA2: The Winter Soldier, The Covernant, the serie Kings of NBC, the ghost movie with Ashley Greene and Tom Felton (it was very bad but he was cute so haha). I think he's great (and cute) so I'm glad he got more regconize now that he's with Marvel.

Hi Sam! That's so true, I think the same, but unfortunately not everybody has the chance to do the job of their dreams. :( I love your Friday

Such sweet words with so much truth Sam <3

You truly inspire me, and this post took that admiration sky high; I couldn't agree more about getting out of a job you hate. Nothing I hate more than hearing people say 'ooh I hate it but can't leave', of course you can! It isn't always easy, but it's better to leave than risk being so unhappy.

Thank you for your lovely support (as always) on my post about fear. I read your comment before I boarded the plane and it really choked me up, but made me believe in myself. THANK YOU! <3 <3
