Friday Frills

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to let ever us down, probably will.
You will have your heart broken and you too may break a few hearts. You will learn that being your own best friend is far more rewarding than being your own worst enemy. You will realise that some things are worth fighting for and others are better left alone. You will say things you didn't mean, make mistakes and lament over how fast time is passing by. So take too many pictures, laugh a lot, apologize willingly, forgive freely, do what you love and love like you've never been hurt. Tell someone what they mean to you, dance in the pouring rain, speak your mind, comfort a friend, listen more, complain less, stay up late, fall asleep watching the sunrise, eat more ice cream, be fearless, worry less and smile more. You get what you give, so give the world the best you have to offer. Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances. Don't be afraid to take a leap of faith, learn to find the beauty in everything and let go of the things you cannot change.
Appreciate the past, plan for the future and relish in the present, after all, it is a 'Gift'.

Beautiful dear! I like you're addition to the piece. The picture is so pretty. Who doesn't love paper airplanes and cute little dress?

Oh, I love your Friday Frills! It's all so true, but I'm on a diet and right now I can't eat so much ice cream! But what it opened my eyes was this sentence, that is sooo true (and I thank you for that!): "Appreciate the past, plan for the future and relish in the present, after all, it is a 'Gift'." It's so true! I am doing that! Thanks for this beautiful post, dear Sam, as beautiful as you are, on the inside and on the outside (small pics of you, but I'm sure of that)!!!!

What a great Friday Frills! "Apologize willingly, forgive freely" is the most difficult part I would say, but definately something worth striving for! I agree on what you said on coffee. Concerning your comment on my blog, you must try smoothies dear Sam, they're super good! I'm sure you have tons of fresh fruits in SA! Thank you for the compliment! Happy weekend!

Oh, I adore your inspirational posts on Fridays. They make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. :)
I really like this - it frames the potential downfalls and negatives amidst hope and the human nature to get back up and persevere.

As always Sam, such inspiring and beautiful words to start the weekend with - love the 'take too many pictures, laugh a lot, apologize willingly, forgive freely, do what you love and love like you've never been hurt' line in particular.

Gorgeous image too, where do you find all these??! Have a happy weekend!xo
